What now?

After receiving your form, I will take a first look at seeing whether I might be able to help you. You will then receive an e-mail from me within two weeks, asking to schedule a first session. If you’ve requested a free phone call first, I will send you an e-mail with some date and time suggestions and the phone number from which I’ll be calling.

An intake will usually take between one and three sessions, though we may continue to assess new arising problems if they occur during the therapy.

Therapy sessions are tailored entirely to your needs. That means our therapy sessions may be brief (6-8 sessions), may occur frequently (every week or every two weeks), or may be more of a safety net (once in a while over the months or years). Of course the form can also shift over time if your situation changes.

If you’ve tried therapy before, I’d love to hear from you what did or didn’t work very well for you. If you haven’t had therapy before, or if you feel anxious not knowing the structure of the sessions, do let me know and I will try my best to guide you and be upfront. You’re very welcome to use your own fidget toys during the sessions if you need them.
